
Seeking nourishment for the heart, mind & body after burnout or trauma? Or living with anxiety or stress?
My Mandarin Days is inspired by a healing journey I created for myself over the course of 6 months after suffering severe burnout whereby I divided each day into small manageable segments. At the time I was eating a lot of mandarins which inspired this idea of taking one segment of the day at a time. I spoke about this with a friend who would call me up each morning and ask, 'what are you up to today?' and I would say, 'I am having a Mandarin Day'. Each segment of each day was mindfully created as a gentle elixir for the body and soul to heal and recover.Looking back at what could have been a depressing time due to living alone, not being able to work and having very little energy became one of the most soul nourishing and enriched phases of my life and led me to forming my exhibition Roses of the Soul.
